Disclosure: I received a box from Munchpak for free in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
While we’ve been back in the states for a few years, the kids still have that little bit of overseas life in them. They still enjoy their German and Japanese treats and are always quick to buy them. It used to be so much fun to stop at a convince store in Okinawa and pick out a new snack. There were times that no one liked it, but most of the time we loved it. There’s also been enough family member stationed in Europe over the years, that we’ve received boxes of goodies. We still stop at Daiso if we are even in the vicinity of Dallas, which is the closest location to us. I think living overseas has also opened them up to trying new things. So when a subscription box can deliver all those fun treats from around the world to our front door, then I’m sold.
We’ve received Munchpak boxes in the past, but it’s been a few years, so I was excited to get another one. The box came with 11 snacks and an energy drink. The snacks included chips and candy in a variety of forms. They were from a variety of places like Turkey, Serbia, Mexico, and Poland. The kids tried everything. There were a couple things they didn’t like, but overall, they ate pretty much everything before I could get to it.
There are three different size boxes to order, as well as different subscription lengths. Boxes are even customizable if you want to only receive a certain kind of snack, like all chewy and salty.
Overall, I’m a big fan. These are the kind of boxes that the entire family can enjoy and it becomes an experience. Munchpak even has an app that allows you to scan the barcode of an item and it will tell you more about it and the country it came from. It also then tracks all your snacks so you can look a favorite up later.
