The weekend really isn’t over yet, but I don’t think we have much else planned. Hubby had a 96 and little man is off school Monday for Columbus Day. I met a ton of new people this weekend. All people that hubby has met and some he had already known before coming here.
Friday, we drove up to Hanson to get hubby’s car. Baby girl and I were on our own coming back, so we took our time. We stopped at the beach right before Hanson. It’s small, there are a lot of rocks and it’s not a swimming beach. We had fun walking around, looking at shells, and putting our hands in the water. She ate some sand, tested the rocks and shells to see if they were edible and had a blast in the sand.
Friday night we rented Marmaduke for little man and we all watched it together. I was getting the kids ready for bed when hubby said we were going out to dinner. I redressed them and we went to Chili’s and met some friends. Four adults and six kids made for quite a fun dinner!
Saturday we met up with some people and went to the American Village. We did some shopping and even more browsing, ate lunch, and went to the arcade. The kids had a blast running around and playing. I took the bigger kids up in the ferris wheel. This thing is huge. Once we got up there, I realized it never stops. It is super slow, but it never stops moving. Everybody came back to the house afterwards. We put a movie on for the kids and the adults sat outside and talked.
Sunday afternoon we went to another person’s house for a birthday. There was a lot of BBQ, beer, kids, and beer pong. The kids all ran around and wore themselves out. We didn’t stay too late since I was tired and baby girl was tired.
I don’t think we are doing anything today! I went to the commissary yesterday, so I see no reason to even leave the house.
